Hi, my name is Emily Blanke (pronounced Blank). I have always loved learning, and teaching has allowed me to share that excitement with others. Since earning my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, I have worked to create engaging experiences that help students grow in both knowledge and confidence.
Now, as I pursue my master’s degree in Learning Design and Technology at the University of San Diego, I am expanding that passion beyond the classroom. I want to design learning that is human centered, creative, and accessible, while engaging learners in meaningful ways. My goal is to create environments where people of all ages feel curious, capable, and inspired to grow.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, traveling, and staying active, all of which continue to shape my perspective as both a teacher and a learner.
